Sensei Daniel Webster, Chief Instructor
A fourth-degree black belt in Kyokushin karate, Sensei Dan has been training in this traditional Japanese karate style since 1971. He has trained under Saiko Shihan Shigeru Oyama, the chairman of US Kyokushinkai, Shihan Kenji Fujiwara, the chairman of the Kyokushin Kan Organization for the United States, and Shihan Tom Meli.
Sensei Susan Easton
Sensei "Sue" has always loved the martial arts and has trained in various styles throughout the years. She studied Japanese Yoshukai karate for 5 years in Pensacola, Florida, attaining 3rd degree brown belt. While training in Yoshukai, she competed in several area tournaments, and assisted in teaching children's classes.
Sensei Sue also trained in kickboxing for 3 years and earned an Assistant Instructor rank under Larry Mazza and Donnie Hair. She returned to karate to study and train in Kyokushin as a student of Sensei Dan, and earned her first degree black belt in May 2007. In July 2009, she tested for and was awarded her second degree black belt in Cromwell, CT, headquarters for the US Kyokushinkan organization led by Shihan Kenji Fujiwara. Sensei Sue teaches karate and self defense classes at the Ultimate Martial Arts Academy.
Sensei Adam Davies
A longtime student of Sensei Dan, Sensei Adam began training in traditional Kyokushin karate in 1985, earning his first black belt when he was 17 years old. Known to deliver powerful kicks and knee shots, Sensei Adam is particularly adept in fighting techniques. Now a second degree black belt, Sensei Adam currently resides in Savannah, Georgia, where he is a published author and a professor at the local college. He continues to train in karate on his own, and adds yoga to his regimine. His double life leads him to Cocoa Beach in the summers and on breaks, where he delights the students with his hard-core karate and conditioning classes.
Sensei Dan also trained extensively in self defense under Dr. Dwight Scherban, a top student of Kokondo Karate founder Paul Arel, and applies his knowledge and experience leading our practical self defense courses designed for women, and courses for children.
Sensei Dan brings more than 37 years of martial arts teaching experience. He owned and operated karate dojos in Windsor, Connecticut for 12 years prior to relocating to Florida. Sensei Dan is the Chief Karate and Self Defense Instructor at the Utlimate Martial Arts Academy.
